The game is simple in idea: answer questions and move your token across the board to the other side. The kids play as one team and the parents play as the other team.

There are three types of cards to this game. First, are the questions cards. These cards have a parent side and a kid side. The questions have a range of regular trivia type questions such as, “what is the Indian currency called”, to pop culture questions such as “Harry Potter house names” and “name the monkey in Dora the Explorer”. The third question can have the kids moving forward ye...

First, the kids love to play against the adults. Next, we like that there are different levels of questions for the parents and the kids. This is great because the trivia is set to make it easier or harder (depending on how you look at it). We also like the fun wild cards; “You crashed your skateboard into the garage door and now it won’t open.” Th...

  6. Beat the Parents was a great party game. The challenges made the game! It was definitely great having multiple people there. Had a great time with game night trying out a bunch of new games through Tryazon and the Spin Master Summer Game Night. We played Beat the Parents, Less is More, Headbanz, Sink N Sand, Soggy Doggy, and Escape Your House.

  7. Setup. Beat the Parent is played with two teams, all of the kids together in one team and the parents making up the other team. Kids and parents should sit on opposite sides of the board. Separate the three types of cards from each other and shuffle each deck separately. Place them where all players can reach them.
