The Staatsgalerie Stuttgart ([ˈʃtaːts.ɡaləˌʁiː ˈʃtʊtɡaʁt], "State Gallery") is an art museum in Stuttgart, Germany, it opened in 1843. In 1984, the opening of the Neue Staatsgalerie (New State Gallery) designed by James Stirling transformed the once provincial gallery into one of Europe's leading museums.

The Staatsgalerie is one of Germany's great art museums. Our collection comprises painting, sculpture and graphic art from the Middle Ages to the present, including many masterpieces and an internationally outstanding collection of modern art.
The Staatsgalerie is located not far from Stuttgart's main railway station. From the main station you can reach the Staatsgalerie in approx. 12 minutes on foot, or you can take the bus or city train one stop to the "Staatsgalerie" stop.
