Jan 11, 2024 · The Houston Heights WWII Memorial is truly special. Inscribed into a pylon in the center of a beautifully rendered granite monument are the names of the 224 men from the Houston Heights area who sacrificed their lives during World War II on our behalf.
Located in the John H. Reagan WWII Memorial Plaza in the Houston Heights, the World War II Memorial commemorates 2,100 Heights-area residents who served in WWII. It is comprised of a large semi-circular wall which highlights the names of the residents, including the 224 people killed.
