    • Mike Schmidt. Josh Hutcherson plays Mike, the security guard—yes, the same one who gamers play as in the series' first game. However, fans never actually saw his physical appearance in the original Five Nights at Freddy's.
    • Vanessa Afton. The handling of Elizabeth Lail’s Vanessa Afton in this new film is interesting, to say the least. The movie confirms that Vanessa, who first appeared in the virtual reality (VR) game Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted, is secretly the daughter of William Afton.
    • William Afton & Springtrap. The serial killer behind it all unsurprisingly makes an appearance in Five Nights at Freddy's. The movie reveals in the final act of the movie that Matthew Lillard’s Steve Raglan, the man who hired Josh Hutcherson’s Mike in the first place, is actually the demented William Afton.
    • Freddy Fazbear. As one might expect, the mascot of the entire franchise is all over Five Nights at Freddy’s—both the games and the film. He is the singer of the pizza place’s animatronic band.

Gregory is a small, thin child with apricot skin, messy brown hair and brown eyes. He has bandages on both his right cheek and his left knee. He wears a blue t-shirt with a pale blue collar and two white stripes positioned horizontally across his chest (as seen in the poster). He also wears a white shirt underneath his shirt. He wears tan cargo sho...

Gregory is an irritated and outspoken kid. Usually, whenever he gets slightly annoyed or angry, like when he got a "crappy" or "stupid" item or realized he had five more hours to survive, he openly makes a comment to showcase his rage. Likewise, he will immediately complain to anyone if he dislikes something they're doing, such as when he told Glamrock Freddy to shut up in a slightly aggressive tone. On the other hand, he is cautious to the point that he appears to be distrustful. In his quest to leave Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex before closure, he prefers to hide from Vanessa instead of accepting her help, as he is doubtful of her intentions in spite of her position as a security guard and Glamrock Freddy's prompt to trust her. Gregory also has some artistic talent, as seen when Cassie collects some of his comics.

Gregory is a brave kid, as rather than just endlessly escaping from the glamrock animatronics with Glamrock Freddy's help, he resolves to confront them in order to collect their improved features. In doing so, he also demonstrates to be quite pragmatic, as he figures out ways in which he can use the environment and objects at his disposal to his advantage to achieve his goals. He is somewhat resentful, as he expresses no remorse when proposing the idea to disable the animatronics to Glamrock Freddy, and refers to it as "what they deserve" due to their constant attempts to capture him, even after Glamrock Freddy suggests that their current behavior was the result of an external agent. He seemingly also has few qualms with committing acts of extreme violence should he feel the need to, commanding Vanny's own S.T.A.F.F. bots to brutally murder her with little hesitation once backed into a corner by the latter, though he is visibly horrified as he watches her die. As intrepid as he can be, he nonetheless isn't without fear, as he is shown to be quite afraid of Vanny.

Although he is somewhat vengeful, Gregory has shown that he worries about others and can perform acts of great altruism. He was concerned with the numerous disappearances, so much so that he opted to stay to investigate and put an end to the disappearances, despite how risky it could be and having the option of finally escaping Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex. Several of his traits have probably developed as a result of his own independence, suffering from homelessness and most likely needing to fend for himself.

Throughout his journey to survive the many menaces spread across Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex, Gregory comes to develop a strong bond with Glamrock Freddy. He constantly relies on him and follows his advice without hesitation, while at the same time trying to help Glamrock Freddy the best he can when the necessity arises, possibly seeing him as a father figure.

Gregory can hide to avoid animatronics or throw objects to distract them, but he will have to quickly move to avoid being spotted. If he spends too long in a hiding place, the animatronics are likely to find him there. He has a flashlight that he can use to see in dark places that he received in the Superstar Daycare, and he carries a Faz-Watch on his wrist, where he can access his missions, the camera system, and the map of Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex, though the map is unlocked later in the game. The watch has unlimited power, but it does show the power level of Gregory's flashlight, and it tells him if it needs to be recharged. He can also use weapons to temporarily stun enemies. To get past animatronics directly, he will need Glamrock Freddy's help to do so, or use the Faz Camera or the Fazerblaster to stun them.

It is later revealed that before the events of the game, Gregory may have been homeless, in which case he may have either ran away from home or he is orphaned, now living in a cardboard box. He later traveled to Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex, likely to live in. However, he later learns of the place's secrets and, after closing time, all of the doors lock, trapping Gregory inside.

After being trapped inside of Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex, Gregory must move through the building, avoid animatronics, and uncover the truth about the establishment.

In RUIN, Gregory only appears near the end of the expansion, as the Gregory that Cassie was attempting to rescue was actually The Mimic using his voice to lure her and help them escape. Once Cassie frees the Mimic, Gregory successfully manages to reach her via the Roxy-Talky and helps her escape the pursuing endoskeleton. In the "Betrayal" ending, Gregory tells Cassie that he can't let either of them escape before the elevator Cassie reached plummets and presumably kills her; however, it is possible that this is really the Mimic pretending to be Gregory again. In the Brazil Ending, an illusion of Gregory, Vanessa, and Helpi eating ice cream on a hillside appears as Gregory (or, more likely, the Mimic using Gregory's voice) tells Cassie that he found a place to hide as she panically breathes in the background.

    GGY

The story follows Tony Becker investigating the mystery of GGY, the initials of a mysterious player ranking up insanely high scores on various arcade machines in the Fazcade. Gregory, otherwise known as "Greg" or by his pen name "Dr. Rabbit" or "Rab" for short in the story, is one of Tony's friends. He teams up with Tony and Ellis (penname "Boots") for their creative writing assignment. It is revealed in the story that Gregory is not only GGY, but that he has been tampering with the systems of Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex. He's used this to get himself a hacked Play Pass that manages to bypass security clearances in Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex and is implied to have control over the animatronics given the strange behavior displayed by Glamrock Freddy in the story. The name is also tied to several disappearances of the school's counselors: Mary Schneider, Raelynn Lawrence, and Treena Welch.

    General

•Gregory and Vanessa are the first fully 3D modeled human characters to be seen in the entire franchise, not counting the audience in the opening cutscene •Gregory is the second child in the franchise to be the main protagonist in Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach. The first is the Crying Child who was the main protagonist in Five Nights at Freddy's 4.

Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach

•According to Vanessa, there has been no records of Gregory's past. It is unknown where he came from and how he got into Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex, although he most likely snuck in due to not having money or parents to pay admission, because as seen in the Alley Ending, Gregory is implied to be homeless and in poverty. •Even though it seems like he is a homeless child, in the game, he is shown to have intelligence much superior to other children his age. He could repair and upgrade a complicated bot like Glamrock Freddy alone. In the Getaway Ending, he could drive a van out of Freddy Fazbear's Mega Pizzaplex and recharge Glamrock Freddy through a car battery. This raises suspicion about his true identity and his purpose for entering the complex. •Gregory is left-handed, which is indicated by his usage of most items in his left hand (e.g. Faz Camera, flashlight, Fazerblaster, and Faz-Watch.) •Various hidden areas inside of Freddy Fazbear's mega Pizzaplex have signs of someone living in them. This could imply that Gregory and/or more people have camped inside of the building. •If one observes Gregory's in-game model by ways such as hacking or activating the debug menu, it is revealed that his shirt, socks and shoes are patented products owned by Fazbear Entertainment LLC, which could indicate he stole them before meeting Glamrock Freddy. •The voice of Gregory, Marta Svetek, also voices Roxanne Wolf and Vanny in this game.

    Security Breach Files

•According to the Security Breach Files, Gregory is a fan of first person shooter video games, which it claims helped him beat Fazer Blast. •It also mentions Gregory goes to school. This lines up with the information seen in GGY.
