Anne Reid is an English stage, TV, and film actor, best known for her role of ‘Valerie Tatlock’ (later ‘Barlow’) in the soap opera ‘Coronation Street.’. Although her career spans over 60 years, after the death of ‘Valerie’ on the show, she took a sabbatical which lasted more than a decade. She made her comeback in the mid-1980s.
