Damon Salvatore is one of the two main male protagonists of The Vampire Diaries. Damon was a 178-year-old vampire and a distant descendant of Silas. Since his younger brother, Stefan Salvatore, injected him with the Cure, he is now human. He was a major antagonist in the first part of Season One.
He then took on various roles, namely, young Shem in Noah in 2014, young Damon Salvatore in the CW television series, The Vampire Diaries in 2015, and Trevor Strand in the first season of Walker in 2021.
He has since starred in feature films such as Darren Aronofsky's "Noah" alongside Russell Crowe, Anthony Hopkins and Jennifer Connelly. He can be seen on an episode of "The Vampire Diaries" as "Young Damon", as well as numerous commercials and print campaigns for national retailers/magazines.
Damon Salvatore is a fictional character In L. J. Smith's novel series The Vampire Diaries. He is portrayed by Ian Somerhalder in the television series. Damon is one of the two main protagonists along with Stefan Salvatore, especially in the story's main setting, Mystic Falls.
