     The only way that the faulting module could be known is when the exception is caused by executing code in a memory address that "belongs" to a particular module (Probably based on the module's loaded address).

     So one way that the module could be unknown is if an application is dereferencing a pointer that is NULL or contains random data. That way it will attempt to execute code from some undefined location that cannot be tied to a particular module.

     By default, Application Insights can handle all types of Application telemetry.

     Application Insights Monitors below telemetry data

     • Dependency rates, Request/response times, and Failure rates of your applications.
     • Exceptions Analyze the aggregated statistics, or pick specific instances and drill into the stack trace and related requests. Application Insights reports both server and browser exceptions.
     • Pageviews and load performance reported by users' browsers
     • AJAX calls from web pages, including rates, response times, and failure rates
     • User and session counts
     • Performance counters such as CPU, memory, and network usage
     • Host diagnostics from Docker or Azure
     • Diagnostic trace logs from apps, correlate trace events with requests
     • Custom events and metrics in client or server code that track business events.

     Where to see Application insights data

     Azure portal -> Application Insights -> Investigate Section (Failures, Transaction Search, etc.)/Monitoring Section (Logs Analytics, Alert, Metrics, etc.)

     I think this log file has nothing related to the issue that your application "doesn't run fine". You should build in your application your own kind of tracing to locate the issue, what kind of exception is raised? Could you provide maybe more information about whats going wrong?

     Here are some information about the log file mentioned above:

     With Windows 8 (.NET 4.5), a new NGen mode: "Auto NGen" has been introduced. Basically, the .NET runtime generates usage logs for managed applications. Source

     Every time the application run it creates a new type of logs called “Assembly Usage Logs” in the AppData windows directory. Source

     On my research I found out mostly that it only does this job on Windows 8+.

     But in this source it says also on Windows Server 2012, but I have tried it on a Windows Server 2012 R2 and could NOT reproduce it!
