- Witness The Famous Cattle Drive. This is a must! Every day on East Exchange Avenue at 11:30 a.m. and again at 4 p.m., traffic comes to a halt and passersby come to a standstill to watch the herd come through.
- Enjoy The Nightlife. Nightlife in Cowtown is a big deal, especially to locals, and the Stockyards area has plenty of it. There are so many bars and saloons to visit that you could literally spend the night going from one to the next.
The Fort Worth Stockyards is a historic district that is located in Fort Worth, Texas, United States, north of the central business district. A 98-acre (40 ha) portion encompassing much of the district was listed on the National Register of Historic Places as Fort Worth Stockyards Historic District in 1976. [1]
