Rev. Henry Grodecki. Our Lady of Guadalupe Cathedral of the Catholic Church is located in Anchorage, Alaska, United States. It is the cathedral and a parish church of the Archdiocese of Anchorage–Juneau. Our Lady of Guadalupe is the seat of the archbishop along with the Co-Cathedral of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, in Juneau.
Our Lady of Guadalupe Founded in 1970. Monseigneur John A. Lunney was tasked with forming a new parish in West Anchorage. The old Parish (now known as the Lunney Center), was constructed in 1976. Since its founding our parish has grown into a very diverse community with families from different ethnic backgrounds.
Our Christmas Craft Bazaar, Knights of Columbus Spaghetti Dinner, and international food events, among others, are well-known throughout the metro area.
