The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 premiered at the Sony Center in Berlin on November 4, 2015, and was released in the United States on November 20, by Lionsgate, in 2D, 3D, and IMAX.

Mockingjay – Part 2. Both Mockingjay parts were filmed simultaneously between 2013 and 2014. The District 2 scenes were filmed at Berlin's former Tempelhof Airport, which was closed in 2008 to be turned into a public park.
