“Mouthful of Grass” is an instrumental at least it has no human voice except the chanting that at time fills the harmony which I assume is Rodger’s voice. The song is primarily a rather simple guitar song.

Side B has an instrumental called Mouthful of Grass, from Free, that maybe should have been titled Lungful of Weed. It is slow, mellow, and contains some "Oooohhs" and "Aaaahhs." It makes me think of a lullaby and kind of brings everything down a bit.
