The Safety for Sarah movement is a campaign for increased safety in film production, named in memory of Sarah Jones, a camera assistant on Midnight Rider who was killed by a train during filming as a result of unsafe actions by the film's director and producer.
In the months following Sarah's death, the authorities in Georgia indicted Rattle Miller and his wife Jodie Sabin and another producer Jay Sedrish and first assistant director Hillary Schwartz for involuntary manslaughter and trespass. They played not guilty. They did just follow the Emails or followed the safety requirements by the film industry.
