The Beehive Flag is the official flag of the U.S. State of Utah. It is a horizontal tricolor with irregular bands of blue, white, and red. The middle white band contains a blue hexagon outlined in gold. Within the hexagon lies a gold-colored beehive, and below it sits a five-pointed white star.

On Nov. 10, the Utah State Flag Task Force will consider a handful of final designs, and then select a final flag for Legislative vote. Shapes represent Utah’s mountain ranges. Red for the red rocks of Southern Utah, also signaling perseverance. White for our snow peaks and peace.

All 20 designs include at least one shade of blue and white, while 11 feature some hue of gold, nine include an orange hue and five include a red hue.
