Belwas, commonly known as Strong Belwas, is a eunuch former pit fighter and slave. His nickname comes from the fighting pits of Meereen, where he used to fight. Belwas claims he has never lost a fight. He allows his opponents to cut him once before they die, so his scars can be counted to see how many he has slain.

Which is not just good showmanship, but also good self-preservation. Strong Belwas is a big draw, and will let even bad opponents draw a little blood to make it interesting, so the people who set-up the fights are incentivized to set him up against these weaker opponents to keep Belwas alive.

Originally a pit fighter in the slave pits of Meereen, Strong Belwas is a warrior sent by Illyrio Mopatis to serve and protect Daenerys in her trials. Belwas is undefeated from his days of pit-fighting and proves to be a very dangerous warrior in single combat.
