Jul 20, 2001 · The Young Americans is a non-profit, tax exempt, educational institution founded in 1962. We were the first choir to move to the music we sang. We created the entire "show choir" movement by influencing the teachers of our nations when we performed on all of the leading television shows of the 60's and 70's.
