University Hall is converted from a castle built more than 130 years ago. Situated adjacent to Pokfulam Reservoir, right at the entrance of Pokfulam Country Park, University Hall has a quiet and peaceful country neighbourhood, and a gorgeous view of the sea on the southern side of Hong Kong Island.

Visit HKU. University Hall is located at 144 Pokfulam Road. The building is a source of much folklore. Originally named Douglas Castle, it was built around 1860 and was acquired by the University in 1953. Three years later it became University Hall, a male student dormitory. Declared Monuments.
