I only just discovered Vertex via the NYT yesterday, and am already disappointed I can’t play past the tutorial unless I pay for the games sub. Chances are currently 50/50 whether I do that anyway… but having a dedicated app without the one-a-day limit for Vertex-style gameplay at least is definitely a good thing!
