The Comedian ( Edward Morgan " Eddie " Blake) is a fictional character who debuted in the graphic novel limited series Watchmen, published by DC Comics. The Comedian was created by writer Alan Moore with artist Dave Gibbons.
Edward Morgan "Eddie" Blake, also known as the Comedian, was a masked vigilante and paramilitary operative for the United States government. A first generation costume adventurer, he was a member of both the original Minutemen of the 1940s and the Crimebusters .
