May 13, 2012 · It seems fitting, then, that Hitchcock himself would direct Revenge, the opening story of the series, working from a script by Francis M. Cockrell, adapted from a story by Samuel Blas. Somewhat disingenuously, our host promises “a sweet little story”, although Revenge is a bit more cynical.
Revenge. A young married couple, Mr. & Mrs. Spann move to a trailer park on the Californian coast after Mrs. Spann suffers a breakdown. Carl (Ralph Meeker) wakes up early one morning and makes breakfast for himself and Elsa (the beautiful Vera Miles). Worried that she will be bored all day whilst he is at work, Carl asks for a middle-aged ...
Revenge. Available on Peacock. S1 E1: Carl and Elsa are a young married couple who live in a trailer near a highway on the beach in California. Carl works and therefore is away from the trailer all day, leaving Elsa alone. Carl is disturbed about this and warns Elsa not to go on the beach unless there are other people about.
