The price for AMD stock is now at $102.70 on the back of a few more trading days before the earnings release on the 2nd Feb. Am I missing out on any key info? The decline is such a huge one that makes me think that earnings have been leaked and it’s terrible.
If AMD grew at 40% Y/Y to end of 2027, at it's current yearly revenue of 21.5B$ (projected closeout for 2023 by management and a decline growth of 9% y/y, we are looking at roughly 82.6B$. A delta in revenue of 61.1B from current yearly revenue to 2027 projects at a very aggressive growth rate of 40% y/y.
Right now a much more fair/realistic valuation of AMD vs NVDA would be non-gaap to non-gaap. If AMD can add another $2/share eps 12 months from now then at $160 thats a pe of more like 37. Assuming the other segments do nothing, and assuming AMD can meet their >4B guide for 2024(which is a ~2B run rate for Q4), that shouldn't be that much of an ...
May 11, 2023 · AMD's competitive position looks pretty good through that timeframe, but what will the TAM of each of the markets be? Completely beyond AMD's control and impossible to know. May 2024 would probably be too early for console revenue from PS/Xbox updates.
Why AMD Will Take Market Share from Nvidia. Su Diligence. I previously predicted AMD will surpass Nvidia's revenue by the end of 2022. That just happened. Nvidia is forecasting $5.9B for next quarter and AMD is forecasting $6.7B for next quarter. I also predicted AMD will surpass Nvidia's net income by the end of 2023.
AMD stock is getting ahead of its revenues, in one year the stock has gained 125% but revenues don’t reflect the same growth as the share price, in fact for 2023 they earned less than they did in 2022.
