Angels of Death (殺戮の天使 Satsuriku no Tenshi) is a manga written by Makoto Sanada and illustrated by Kudan Naduka, based on a video game with the same name. The first chapter was published on January 27 2016 in Monthly Comic Gene.
The story for the Angels of Death manga follows that of the game with additional scenes, flashbacks and information not given in the original story. These were added in order to provide more depth to the original characters and expand on the universe which Makoto Sanada had when they created the Angels of Death game.
As the manga began its serialisation before the anime, and the anime concluded before the manga, there are slight differences in the story told in both mediums. However, the overarching plot that was the base story from the original game remains intact and only the additional information added in the manga has been changed.
When Rachel Gardner wakes up in the basement of an unfamiliar building, she finds herself face-to-face with Zack, a serial killer wrapped from head to toe in bandages. A strange bond is struck between them, strengthened by strange, crazy promises.
The two unlikely heroes, trapped in a strange building, don't know why fate has placed them there. They will have to work together if they ever hope to find a way out.
