The major difference between the two models is basically the inclusion of Wi-Fi on the Essex and the 5.0 BlackBerry OS on the newer model.

  6. Oct 23, 2009 · Is the Tour2 (codename Essex) just the CDMA variant of the Bold 9700(trackpad, Wi-Fi, faster processor, thinner, lighter, etc.)??? Also I'm assuming the CDMA version will have red numeric keys instead of the white ones like on the GSM version. Is this close to correct or is it WHOLE different phone???
