Brighton College is an independent, co-educational boarding and day public school for boys and girls aged 3 to 18 in Brighton, England.
Founded in 1845 by William Aldwin Soames, Brighton College was the first independent school to be founded in Sussex. Our historic gothic buildings were designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott R and, later, Sir Thomas Graham Jackson RA.
Since opening our first school in 2011, Brighton College International has continued to grow, now overseeing a global portfolio of seven schools. Our strong links with the College ensure that each overseas school is built on the outstanding reputation of Brighton College UK.
The admissions process for 11+ starts in Year 6. Registration is recommended at least one year prior to entry. Families are encouraged to visit the College to get a flavour of the school, and we also offer a number of of Taster Days prior to assessment for prospective Year 7 pupils.
