May 8, 2013 · The American Family Association announced yesterday that it has parted ways with Buster Wilson, the host of AFA Today and the general manager of its radio network.
Dr. Buster Wilson is currently heard on the American Family Radio Networks. He is a co-host on the noon day flagship program, The AFA Report with Fred Jackson and Ed Vitagliano. In May, he will host a four hour afternoon drive music program on 4 stations in Central Mississippi.

Buster Wilson, the general manager of AFR and host of the program “AFA Today,” suggested in 2012 that God might have sent Hurricane Isaac as punishment for a New Orleans LGBT festival and also tried to link the repeal of DADT to increased suicides, alcoholism, sexual assaults and violence in the military.
“I tried to make contact with Buster Wilson,” she said. Wilson is general manager of American Family Radio, AFA’s network of 192 radio stations. Wilson said, “I told Barbi, ‘This is absolutely where we are as an organization, and we’re going to go full force ahead to promote this 40-day fast with you.’”
