Songs were a regular part of the show, from "Captain Kangaroo" to many traditional tunes to popular songs interpreted by puppets. Carmino Ravosa was a songwriter on the show from 1975 to 1977.
Cosmo Allegretti (1927-2013) was an actor who appeared in Sorcerer, Street Hunter and Prince of the City. He was also the voice and movement of several characters on Captain Kangaroo, such as Mr. Moose and Bunny Rabbit.
