Sep 30, 2011 · When Nugent graduated from high school in 1967, he contacted Bob Henkins of Detroit to be the band’s manager, and he moved the Amboy Dukes to the Motor City where he and Drake put together a new line-up that included rhythm guitarist Steve Farmer and drummer Dave Palmer.
