Desi Lydic (/ ˈ d ɛ z i ˈ l aɪ d ɪ k / DEZ-ee LY-dik) is an American comedian and actress who is a senior correspondent on The Daily Show. From 2011 to 2016, she starred as guidance counselor Valerie Marks on the MTV comedy-drama series Awkward. She got her start in the 2001 parody film Not Another Teen Movie.
