Similarly, its mix of real and exaggerated situations doesn’t quite jell, making for a commercial diagnosis that’s good but not great. In an attempt to be provocative as well as a good nail-biter, the film falls a tad short on both counts.

While on the verge of a prestigious position at NYU, New York Doctor Guy Luthan (Grant) has a mysterious patient die on him without any explanation. Trying to find out what happened, the trail leads to world renowned neurosurgeon Dr Myrick (Gene Hackman) and the disappearances of homeless people.
Dr. Guy Luthan (Hugh Grant) treats a homeless man with strange symptoms, but then the patient disappears out from under his care -- along with any files pertaining to him.
