Overall. This improved post-2016-era third generation Ranger proved to be a thoroughly engineered product, the first Ford pick-up to truly approach market leadership. For its era, it was safe, spacious, clever, able to carry large loads and finally had engines efficient enough to stand comparison with the competition.
