Elizabeth Baur (December 1, 1947 – September 30, 2017) was an American actress. She is perhaps best known for her roles as Teresa O'Brien on the CBS western series Lancer, and as Officer Fran Belding on NBC 's crime drama series Ironside .

The high point of her career came in 1971 when she won out over 100 other hopefuls auditioning for the role of Officer Fran Belding in TV's Ironside (1967), replacing Barbara Anderson who departed the show after season four. She was (in her own words) 'thrilled' to get the part which she later described as her most challenging role.

After the program's fourth season, Anderson left for personal reasons, and her character was then replaced by another young policewoman, Fran Belding (Elizabeth Baur), who filled much the same role for four more years.
