You can always find someone with a complaint but for the most part Go Ahead has good reviews. Understand that many UK tour operators net everything down and don't include a lot of meals. Not sure why your dealing with the Toronto office.

In my experience, Go Ahead posts the hotels online 30 days prior to departure and also emails if you are booked. Additionally you can contact them prior and receive the name (s) of the hotels they have used in the past. Their tours are good value for the $$$$ though they are getting more expensive.
Feb 8, 2024 · I travelled twice with Go Ahead Tours before COVID. I very much enjoyed both experiences. However, I booked a tour to Scotland and England almost a year ago. The tour leaves next week, and although I am excited and hopeful, my experience with Go Ahead while making plans for this trip was horrible.
