How To Make hollywood squares. 1. For bottom: Mix all ingredients together in large mixing bowl. Pat by hand onto a lightly greased jelly roll pan. 2. For topping: Melt chocolate over low heat. Add butter as chocolate begins to melt. Spread over peanut butter layer. Chill, then cut into squares.

HOLLYWOOD SQUARES. Mix together first 6 ingredients except for 1/2 cup of confectioners' sugar. Pat into pan. Use 1/2 cup sugar on top to help pat it in the pan. Melt chocolate chips and butter. Pour on top and smooth over. Cut into squares and chill.
At my high school, there was always a special dessert that we all loved. It was the Hollywood Square! I am not sure where the crazy name came from other than that Game Show that was on in the 80's but I do know that this dessert would be enough to get the majority of the student body standing in the lunch line.
