In March 2001, a Bengal Tiger owned by Weinstein attacked and killed a trainer in Las Vegas, from where Weinstein originally came. After the incident, the trainer moved to Minnesota, where he hoped to use the same tiger and a chimpanzee named Tarzan to capitalize off the film market.
