Actress
After she graduated high school, she moved to New York City to attend New York University's prestigious Tisch School of the Arts at The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. While there, she was awarded “Best Performance” by Alec Baldwin at the Tisch 48 Film Festival. She worked extensively in theatre in New York City before moving out to Los Angeles to work in film and television. She quickly became the face of Clarsskin and started booking commercials, including Kraft Macaroni & Cheese....
Chef
In 2017 Katie began working as a professional chef between auditions and gigs. She started catering film sets and working in homes as a personal chef. In 2018 she got a coveted job working as the private chef for The Jonas Brothers and Sophie Turner while they were on vacation in Palm Springs. Since then, she has catered events at Coachella and Stagecoach, influencer parties, and dinner parties for many celebrities. She has since studied cooking in Italy, Germany, and Paris.
Producer
In 2017, she produced, co-wrote, and starred in Solstice Ranch, which won several awards throughout the festival circuit. She then produced and starred in Last Hurrah, which also successfully competed in the festival circuit. In 2019, Katherine co-founded Theatre Row Productionswith her husband David Del Rio. Together they have started pre-production on several projects.
On February 3, 2018 Katherine married her longtime love and fellow actor David Del Rio (of Broadway's In the Heights, Universal's Pitch Perfect, and ABC'S The Baker & The Beauty) at a private villa on the beach in Playa del Carmen.The two have been together since early 2013.
