How to apply for funding. 1. Submit an idea. The first step in submitting a funding request is to use our grant portal Fluxx to submit an online letter of inquiry. Click “Apply for Funding” below to be routed to Fluxx.
There are three simple rules: The idea must be about the arts, the project must take place in or benefit the local community, and winners must find other funding to match Knight Foundation’s support. For more information and to apply, please visit knightarts.org.

Knight Foundation Fund Grant. Grants will be awarded between $100,000 and $200,000 and require matching funds.
