Lopez Lake is a reservoir near the city of Arroyo Grande in San Luis Obispo County, California. The lake is formed by Lopez Dam on Arroyo Grande Creek, 9 mi (14 km) upstream from the Pacific Ocean. The creek drains about 60 sq mi (160 km 2) above the dam and 90 sq mi (230 km 2) below.
Lopez Lake Camping includes over 350 campsites from lake-view spots to scenic oak forest campsites. The campsites are separated into nearly 20 different camping areas across a low, rounded hill. Scattered oaks provide partial shade. Some hook-ups are available, as well as showers.

Didn't see any bears, but deer, turkeys, and birds ran rampant through our campsite (nature really comes to you here).
