Mark Edward Pope (born September 11, 1972) is an American college basketball coach who is the head coach at the University of Kentucky, his alma mater. After a stint at the University of Washington, where he was the Pac-10 Freshman of the Year, he transferred to Kentucky, where he was part of the Wildcats' 1996 NCAA national championship team.
