In fact, Overheard 2 ticks all the right boxes to be a great film – strong cast (Lau Ching Wan, Louis Koo and Daniel Wu), thoroughly written script, quality production values (Derek Yee) and directing talents of Alan Mak and Felix Chong.

May 10, 2015 · There is no question that ‘Overheard 2’ is another supremely slick thriller with three actors at the height of their powers. Complete with sophisticated cinematography and two men behind the lens who represent the future of local cinema, this follow-up in no way embarrasses the original.
Overheard 2 Story: When Manson Law (Lau Ching Wan) one day causes a traffic accident the police finds a bug in his car. After further investigation of the police there are listening devices found in Law's office, too.
Review by Kozo: Viva white collar crime! Prolific filmmaking duo Alan Mak and Felix Chong return for Overheard 2, the sequel to the entertaining if unmemorable 2009 thriller Overheard. Also back are producer Derek Yee and the powerhouse cast of Louis Koo, Lau Ching-Wan and Daniel Wu.
