The Detective Bureau is comprised of 23 Detectives, 2 Sergeants, and 9 Professional Staff. Together, they are responsible for the investigation and filing all criminal cases with the District Attorney's Office. The Detective Bureau also provides resources and support to crime victims and handles all extraditions from other jurisdictions.
The Major Crimes Unit is comprised of homicide and gang detectives who investigate major crimes and provide supplemental field coverage.
