Apr 23, 2015 · In Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly, there is a dragonfly named Cinder. Cynder is one of two roles in The Legend of Spyro series to be constantly recast (the other being Sparx). She is voiced by Cree Summer in A New Beginning, Mae Whitman in The Eternal Night, and Christina Ricci in Dawn of the Dragon.
Spynder is the het ship between Spyro and Cynder from the Spyro the Dragon and Skylanders fandoms. Spyro has been known to care for Cynder ever since he defeated her at the end of The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning.
Spyro and Cynder, now teenagers, are broken free of their crystalline prison by mysterious enemies known as Grublins. The two are tethered together with green energy chains created by the Dark Master before being carried away, while Sparx is found by Hunter of Avalar, who was watching them from the shadows.
Spyro would also encounter Cynder, a female dragon who was cursed by Malefor and was made to serve him. Cynder starts out as an antagonist, but later joins Spyro's side in the battle against Malefor's forces.
Spyro, Sparx, and Cynder are reunited, then proceed after Hunter, who introduces himself and reveals that Ignitus had sent him when Spyro did not return to the temple three years ago. They manage to escape The Catacombs , tangling with the Golem and removing its arm in the process.
Spyro flew to Cynder's lair and found Ignitus confined with his powers being draining inside a crystal. Cynder stopped Spyro from destroying the crystal, and after Spyro fought her, she escaped with it. While fighting with the villain, Spyro noticed that there was something familiar with Cynder, and Ignitus told him the truth.
Hostile forces pursue Spyro, but eventually come into contact with a distraught Ignitus, who, although pleased that Spyro is alive, fears that with the Dragon Temple under occupation by their enemy, led by a black female dragon named Cynder, their war is already lost.
Cynder is the deuteragonist of The Legend of Spyro reboot trilogy. She first made her debut in The Legend of Spyro: A New Beginning as the main antagonist and a "loyal servant" to the Dark Master, Malefor.
