One of the biggest and longest-running debates in the superhero world has finally been settled. The latest issue of Fantastic Four answers the age-old question - who's stronger, the Hulk or the Thing?

Warning: this article contains spoilers for Fantastic Four #13!

These two heroes have clashed many times in the past, and Ben Grimm tends to be painted as the underdog in every fight. Aunt Petunia's favorite nephew may be tough, but it's hard to top a gamma-powered monster who grows stronger as he becomes angrier.

Hulk definitely seemed to have the upper hand in their latest brawl. This rematch comes as Ben Grimm and his new bride Alicia are attacked on their honeymoon. Alicia's stepfather, the long-time FF villain known as Puppet Master, brainwashes Hulk into attacking his son-in-law. Making matters worse, Ben is struggling to protect Alicia and other bystanders, even as his watch steadily ticks down toward the point where he reverts to human form.

While it seems as though Ben's honeymoon is about to turn into a funeral, Alicia reminds her husband that he has the one thing Hulk lacks - heart. Ben is able to dig deep, summon every last bit of his strength and wallop Hulk with a punch so hard it knocks the Jade Giant unconscious. Art by Sean Izaakse. Not to be outdone, DC solved another long-running debate last year by finally revealing whether Superman or Flash is the fastest hero of all.

Hulk may have lost this battle, but he can at least take consolation in the fact that he's starring in one of Marvel's best monthly comics. Find out why Immortal Hulk is a terrifyingly good comic.
