Jul 17, 2022 · For me, the H-3 is killer in a lot of super-strat guitars for something with high output, but still rolls off nicely, and is warm but still articulate. The H-3+ is more aggressive, higher output, and bit more low-end grunt, more in the Distortion level of output.

Oct 15, 2009 · The H3+ has a ridiculous output, the hottest passive I've ever tried (only experienced with Gibson pickups, SD, and PRS). I liked how it boosted the hell out of amps set to low gain, particularly a rectoverb combo.
