TU punched its ticket to the Big Dance by defeating Delaware to win its fourth-straight Colonial Athletic Association tournament championship. The Tigers swept the Blue Hens in three straight sets (25-15, 25-21, 25-22) to finish the season 29-1.
Nov 22, 2021 · After waiting over a week, the Towson University women's volleyball team have learned its NCAA Tournament fate — a bus ride north to Pittsburgh for a rematch with a Big Ten powerhouse. The Tigers will take on Penn State in the first round of the 2021 NCAA Tournament on Friday, Dec. 3 at 4 p.m.
Nov 20, 2021 · Towson won a nail-biting fourth set 25-23 to force the match to a fifth set. The Tigers jumped out ahead 5-0 before Elon battled back with four straight points. Towson pushed the lead back to four, taking a 9-5 lead, but the Phoenix would not go away, tying the set at 14 and eventually taking an 18-17 lead.
