These rankings only include backyarders who have gone 24 yards or longer. And, let me tell you, covering 100 miles in less than 24 hours is something to be proud of. Millions of people run. Hundreds of thousands of people run ultras. But only a very few put in the work in training, and bring it on race day, to achieve 100 miles in less than a day.
