Voigt House, carriage house and grounds are situated in Grand Rapids’ Heritage Hill Historic District, just east of downtown, and serve as a time capsule of the late Victorian period with intact original family furnishings.

Nov 21, 2016 · This elegant and perfectly preserved Victorian mansion was built for Carl G. A. Voigt in 1895. Voigt came to Grand Rapids in 1870 and ran a mill and dry goods store with W. G. Herpolsheimer. (A historical marker located in Grand Rapids in Kent County, Michigan.)

Located in the Heritage Hill Historic District, the three-story mansion was donated by Ralph Voigt to the Grand Rapids Foundation in 1971. It has since come under the control of the Grand Rapids Public Museum and features a carriage house and landscaped grounds.
