Warren Entner (born 1944) is an American singer, songwriter, organist and guitarist for the rock and roll band The Grass Roots. He subsequently became a manager for several successful heavy metal/rock groups.
This band consisted of Creed Bratton (vocals, guitar), Rick Coonce (drums, percussion), Warren Entner (vocals, guitar, keyboards) and Kenny Fukumoto (vocals, bass) and had formed only a year earlier.

I met Warren Entner when I began photographing Quiet Riot, the first Heavy Metal band to have a # 1 Album “METAL HEALTH” on the Billboard charts. I did the single sleeve for there hit single “Bang Your Head”.

Mar 5, 2021 · The Grass Roots’ most successful lineup came with the 13th Floor band – which was comprised of Creed Bratton, Rick Coonce, Warren Entner, and Rob Grill – who had submitted demos to Dunhill Records. They were given the choice to carry their name or don the Grass Roots branding, on which they chose the latter.
Creed Bratton (vocals, guitar), Rick Coonce (drums, percussion), Warren Entner (vocals, guitar, keyboards) and Kenny Fukumoto (vocals, bass) were a good band, but Dunhill felt one key element was still missing: a solid lead vocalist.
