Yale Law School (YLS) is the law school of Yale University, a private research university in New Haven, Connecticut. It was established in 1824. The small size of Yale Law School—approximately 200 in each entering class—requires an extremely selective admissions process. Admission is subject to approval by the dean, pursuant to policies promulgated by the faculty of the School and the Corporation of Yale University.
In the four-year MBA/JD program, students spend two years at Yale Law School; one year at Yale SOM, during which they take the integrated MBA curriculum; and one year taking electives at both schools and elsewhere at Yale.
