A woman and her daughters are stuck in their house during a raging hurricane when three escaped cons invade the premises. When the woman's estranged husband suspects trouble at the house, he fights his way through the storm to check up on his family.

On the eve of a hurricane threatening New Orleans a dangerous convict escapes from prison with two accomplices. When the high winds and flooding disrupt their escape plan they're forced to take shelter in the remote bayou home of Cassie and her two daughters.
