Marty Feldman as Igor, a hunchbacked servant of Victor Frankenstein who works with Frederick. Cloris Leachman as Frau Blücher, the housekeeper of the Frankenstein estate. Teri Garr as Inga, a young woman who becomes Frederick's assistant. Kenneth Mars as Inspector Kemp, a one-eyed police inspector with a prosthetic arm.

- “Walk THIS Way.” Igor. When Igor meets Dr. Frankenstein at the train station and tells him to “walk this way,” the scientist thinks he means “way” as in direction and simply follows him.
- “Putti’ On The Ritz!” The Monster. Dr. Frankenstein debuts the monster for the scientific community in the most ridiculous way possible: with a duet of “Puttin’ on the Ritz.”
- "My Name Is Frankenstein!" Dr. Frederick Frankenstein. Along with Young Frankenstein's black-and-white look, the parody feels akin to the classic 1930s movie in the arc of the scientist gradually becoming arrogant to the point of being dangerous.

In 1974, he appeared as Igor in Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein, for which he received the first Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actor. He died in 1982 of a heart attack while filming Yellowbeard in Mexico City .
