Miss Sharon reportedly suffered a stroke in New York City on December 2, 2014 and a day later she has passed away. According to TMZ, Sharon slipped into a coma overnight while in the hospital after the stroke. Daily Mailhad reported:
Tucker had flown from Atlanta to New York City when he was alerted of his mother’s stroke. Miss Sharon passed away with them by her side in the hospital. Tucker posted this message on his Instagram account upon losing his mother: Tucker’s wife Kandi Burruss was reportedly in Los Angeles when Miss Sharon died.
